Service terms & satisfaction guarantee

These are the terms that apply when you book a service with Driveway Tire Change Inc. ("we," "us," "our"). They explain what our service includes, what it does not include, what we need from you, and how our 30-day satisfaction guarantee works. By booking a service, approving a quote, or letting us begin work, you agree to these terms.

Effective September 1, 2026 · London, Ontario

We are a mobile, on-rim seasonal tire service. All work is performed at your home, in your driveway. Our services include seasonal tire swaps, tire rotations, spare tire installation, and wheel lock removal. Pricing is shown on your quote and confirmed before we begin. "On-rims" means we move a set of tires that are already mounted on their own wheels/rims onto your vehicle, and remove the set currently on it. We supply the labour, tools, and expertise to swap, rotate, or install wheels that are already assembled.

1 — Services we provide

2 — Services we do not provide

Our service is deliberately focused. We do not offer: mounting or dismounting tires from rims; wheel balancing; tire repairs of any kind (patches, plugs, leak repair); tire sales; mechanical work of any kind; body work or repairs; tire storage; roadside, highway, or emergency towing or service. If you need any of these, we're happy to point you toward a shop that can help.

So we can work safely and efficiently, you agree to provide: a safe, firm, reasonably level surface such as a paved or concrete driveway (we may decline or stop work on surfaces we consider unsafe, such as soft ground, gravel, steep slopes, or ice); clear, unobstructed access to the vehicle and all four wheels; your second set of tires already mounted on rims and in roadworthy condition (for a swap); wheel-lock keys if your vehicle has wheel locks; and information about any known issues such as past damage, seized or rusted hardware, aftermarket wheels, or modified suspension.

3 — What we need from you

4 — Condition of your vehicle, tires and wheels

We service the vehicle, tires, and wheels in the condition they are in when we arrive. We inspect what we can see, but we are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or for damage that results from servicing hardware that is already worn, corroded, or compromised — for example: seized, rusted, cross-threaded, or previously over-torqued lug nuts or wheel studs; cracked, bent, or corroded rims; worn or damaged tires; aging or faulty tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensors; or prior curb or pothole damage. If we find hardware that is seized, damaged, or unsafe, we may be unable to complete the service and will explain why; a service call or partial fee may still apply for the time and travel involved. Because we do not balance wheels, we are not responsible for vibration or uneven wear caused by out-of-balance wheels or by the condition of the tires and rims you supply. We set tire pressures to specification, but we do not guarantee TPMS sensor function, as sensors have a limited lifespan and can fail during any tire service.

5 — Wheel torque and re-torque

We torque every wheel to your manufacturer's specification using a calibrated torque wrench, and we perform a mandatory final torque check on every wheel before we leave. Industry best practice is to re-check wheel-nut torque after the wheels have been driven roughly 50–100 km. You are responsible for having this re-torque done — you can return to us, stop by any tire shop, or re-torque the wheels yourself. Driving without a re-torque, or continuing to drive on a wheel that feels loose or vibrates, is not something we can be responsible for.

6 — Damage, liability and insurance

We take care with your property, and we are fully insured, carrying Commercial General Liability and Garage Keepers coverage for customer vehicles in our care. If you believe our work has damaged your vehicle, wheels, or property, please tell us before we leave your property, or within 24 hours with photographs, so we can document and address it. Damage claims are handled through our insurance and are separate from the satisfaction guarantee below. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. This limit does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under Ontario law, such as liability for personal injury or property damage caused by our negligence. Nothing in these terms takes away or reduces your rights under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002.

Prices are as shown on your quote and are subject to applicable HST. Payment is due on completion of the service unless we agree otherwise in advance. Returned or failed payments may be subject to a reasonable administrative fee.

8 — Our 30 day satisfaction guarantee

We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with the quality of the workmanship on a service, contact us within 30 days of that service and we will make it right: first, we will return and re-perform or correct the affected work at no charge; and if, after a reasonable opportunity to correct the work, we are unable to resolve the workmanship issue to a reasonable standard, we will refund the service fee you paid for that visit. This guarantee covers the quality of the tire service work we performed. It does not cover: damage claims (handled through our insurance, see Section 6); pre-existing conditions or the condition of tires, wheels, or hardware you supplied; vibration caused by unbalanced or customer-supplied tires and wheels; TPMS sensor function; the cost of any tires, wheels, or parts; dissatisfaction unrelated to the quality of our workmanship; or any indirect or consequential losses. The most we will refund under this guarantee is the service fee you paid for the visit in question. This guarantee is in addition to your rights under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002.

Separate from the satisfaction guarantee, we always stand behind the quality of our own work. If a problem arises that is directly caused by how we performed a service — for example, a wheel we installed was not properly torqued — contact us right away and we will correct it. This warranty covers our workmanship only. It does not cover the condition of the tires, wheels, or hardware you supplied, normal wear, or problems caused by continuing to drive on a loose, damaged, or unsafe wheel after service.

9 — Workmanship Warranty

Our tire services are performed outdoors at your location and depend on safe working conditions. In the event of heavy rain, snow, ice, extreme cold, or any other weather or site conditions that we consider unsafe, we may need to reschedule your appointment. This is necessary to protect the safety of our technicians and to ensure the quality and safety of the work performed on your vehicle. Driveway Tire Change Inc. reserves the sole right to determine when conditions are unsafe to perform a service. If we need to reschedule due to weather or unsafe conditions, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange the earliest available appointment at no additional cost and with no penalty to you. We ask that customers provide a reasonably safe, accessible, and level location for the service (for example, a driveway clear of snow, ice, and obstructions). If we arrive and conditions at the location are unsafe or the area is inaccessible, the appointment may need to be rescheduled. We appreciate your understanding — this policy exists to keep everyone safe and to make sure your tires are installed correctly.

11 — Changes to these terms and the guarantee

We may update, change, or discontinue these terms or the satisfaction guarantee at any time. The version in effect on the date of your service is the version that applies to that service.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2002.
